Villamena

Municipality formed by the union of the populations of Conchar and Cozvíjar in 1973. The town hall is located in Cozvíjar.

Villamena union represents only a "management": there is only one City Council for boths towns. Despite this union, each of the two towns has preserved its original character and customs.

Cónchar is located at the foot of the Sierra de las Albuñuelas and along the Dúrcal river, Cozvíjar turn just south of the Laguna del Padul and along the river also.
