Opinion: forgetting its technical aspects, I must say it is one of the most beautiful dam and reservoir I've seen. The dam and its surroundings are clean and well cared for. Near the dam is and small village with planty gardens and abundance of.
The houses that make up this small village were used by employees and technicians who worked on the implementation of this dam. This village has a beautiful church that is used on special occasions, weddings, baptisms, etc..
There is also a bar restaurant "Venta El Pantano” where you can eat or drink. The employees are always willing to give any information about the reservoir and surrounding villages.
Access is by paved road, approximately 8 km from the main comarcal road.
The visit to the dam and the surroundings towns is highly recomended |
