The Celemín Dam and Reservoir belong to the Cuenca
Atlántica Andaluza (Andalusian Atlantic Basin), located
in the municipality of Medina Sidonia, in the Natural Park
of Los Alcornocales, province of Cadiz.

The Celemín river rises northern Sierra Blanquilla in
Medina Sidonia, 400 m (meters above sea level).
In Charcones, about 5 km from Benalup-Casas Viejas, joins the
Barbate river.It has a distance of 25 km and its main tributaries
are on the right, the Carpio stream, the Charcones stream and
on the left the San Fernando stream and the Valley of the Ravine
throat. |
