Moriles
Moriles is located to the south of the province of Córdoba, in the middle of the Córdoba's countryside, land of olive trees, cereals and above all vineyards; that produce the famous wines of Montilla-Moriles.
The town and the wine are so close they cannot be separated. Life, therefore, depends on this product that has brought fame and notoriety around the world.
A town reminiscent of the Tartessus and Turdetani. Roman occupation. The town was formed in the second half of the XIX century from several adjacent locations. With the name of Zapateros was a village dependent on the municipality of Aguilar de la Frontera until 1912, year that by royal law of June 18 became an independent municipality and renamed Moriles, a name which had been given, even from ancient times, to the land where it is located and to the wine that they produced.

How to get there
You have to exit Córdoba towards Fernán Núñez, then cross this town and go through Montemayor - Montilla and Aguilar until you get Moriles.
