Gines - Sevilla

Gines is located in the province of Sevilla (Spain), just to eight kilometres from the capital of Andalucía.

Located in the heart of Aljarafe and next to the highway A-49, Gines communications both with Huelva and Sevilla are excellent.

The origin of Gines is associated with Abgena.

In the Roman period, specifically in the time of Julius Caesar, it will be renamed Vergeliun Iulii Genitoris. It became a major population centre

During the reign of Al-Andalus, it becomes a farm called Genis Lavit.

From Sevilla, by the A - 49, take the exit towards Castilleja de la Cuesta and continue straight by the road 431 towards Huelva.
