Gastronomy

There are certain gastronomic habits that usually coincide with the holidays, seasons or agricultural labour.

At Easter we eat the peppers stew, chickpea stew, fried cod with tomato, rice pudding, eggs molis, and oranges with cinnamon.

At Christmas there are typical, rather than food, the sweets, where the "grandmothers" are true experts in their development. For example the famous almendraos, donuts of wine, brandy and butter, lard, etc.

At the time of harvest are used to eat gazpacho, bread crumbs and pan to carrying the "segaores" the place of the pit.

In winter, typical meals are corn meal porridge and potato crumbs, crumbs crack, zalamandroña and gurrupinas.

We also can emphasize:

Choto al ajillo
Lomo en orza
Queso en aceite de oveja
Embutidos variados
Homemade bread and wine
