Castellar de la Frontera is located in the region of El Campo de Gibraltar, in the south-eastern area of Cádiz.

This town has three population centres: El viejo pueblo de Castellar –where you can observe the medieval castle -, the new town of Castellar and Almoraima.

Castellar has a railway station that allows you to be connected with other nearby villages and with the rest of Spain. Besides, it has a bus route that links this town with Algeciras and La Línea. These services complements with a taxi rank.
